12.12.12 Roundup

Stud of the night: Klay Thompson (G, GS) carried the Warriors to a road win in Miami with a 27 point performance. He added 2 steals, 1 block, and 5 treys giving his owners a huge boost in tough stat categories. His performance offset a tough shooting night from Steph Curry.

Vitaly Potapenko Goat of the night: The entire Cleveland team nt named CJ Miles. Single digit performances from Irving and Varejao isn't gonna cut it.

Game of the night: Dallas v. Boston went to double overtime as two contenders went shot for shot. Big games from pierce and rondo exposed how much Dallas is going to miss Dirk until he returns from injury.
Runner-up was Warriors v. Heat where GS walked into Miami and had a season defining win on the road against a title contender.

Players to watch: Kenneth Faried (F, DEN) is back on Coach Karl's good side and playing well. 26-14 game last night and should be dependable going forward. The result is more value for Ty Lawson and Danilo Gallinari and lowered value for JaVale McGee.

What to Watch Tonight: Lakers at Knicks- when Kobe heads to MSG always expect a show. The Lakers need to make a statement and getting a win on the road against a hot team on national television is as good a time as any. Expect the Lakers to come out sight there best effort, for better or worse.
