12.13.12 Roundup

Stud of the night: Damian Lillard (G, POR)- 29 points with 7 boards and 6 assists in a tough matchup with Tony Parker takes home the award on a slow night. Another key stat: only 2 turnovers.

Vitaly Potapenko Goat of the Night: Antawn Jamison (F, LAL)- the veteran forward has been less than impressive in Gasol's absence. They needed a big night from him and didn't.

Game of the night: SA at POR- close game where turnovers ultimately did the Spurs in. Great matchup at PG between Parker and Lillard and at power forward between Duncan and Aldridge.

Player to watch: Tiago Splitter (F, SA)- 12 and 7 last night and getting more and more minutes. The one huge draw back is his putrid free throw percentage. He's almost Ben Wallace bad. Almost.

Game to watch tonight: sixers/pacers should be a good one, but since I'm a homer I'm going with celtics/rockets. Two teams that desperately need to build some momentum, but I give the edge to the green with the benches being the difference.
